Creating Active Directory Users Windows Server 2003
In this exercise, you will create new domain user accounts.
1. Select Start -> Administrative Tools -> Active Directory Users And Computers.
2. In the Active Directory Users And Computers window, right-click Users, select New, and
then select User.
3. In the first New Object–User dialog box, enter the following information:
-> First Name: Ginnie
-> Initial: B.
-> Last Name: Donald
-> User Logon Name: Ginnie

4. Click the Next button.
5. In the next New Object–User dialog box, type and confirm the password girLYc@t. Check

Setting Password Security Settings and User Rights Assignments Windows Server 2003
In this exercise, you will set password security settings and user rights settings.
1. Select Start -> Administrative Tools -> Domain Security Policy.
2. Under Security Settings select Account Policies, Password Policy.
3. Double-click Minimum Password Length, and in the Minimum Password Length Properties
dialog box, set the Password Must Be At Least field to 0. Click the Apply button, then the OK
button.
4. Double-click Password Must Meet Complexity Requirements, and in the Password Must
Meet Complexity Requirements Properties dialog box, click the Disabled radio button.
Click the Apply button, then the OK button.
5. From the Default Domain Security Settings dialog box, select File -> Exit.

1. Select Start -> All Programs -> Accessories -> System Tools -> System Information.
2. Review the System Summary for your server.

resources that are shared and to verify that no conflicts exist.
4. Select File -> Save to create a System Information file. Give the filename today’s date,

5. The Hardware Update Wizard starts. Select the Install From A List Or Specific Location
(Advanced) radio button. Click the Next button.
6. The Hardware Update Wizard will continue and you will be asked to choose your search
and installation options. Leave the options at the default setting and click Next. Specify
which new driver you want to install and click the Next button
7. The files will be installed for your driver. Then you will see the Completing The Upgrade
Device Driver Wizard dialog box. Click the Finish button to close this dialog box.
8. You may see a dialog box indicating that you must restart your computer before the change
can be successfully implemented. Click Yes.

the Make This Action The System Default checkbox is checked.
3. Click the OK button to close the dialog box. Click the OK button within the System Prop-erties dialog box.
4. Select Start -> Run. In the Run dialog box, type sigverif and click the OK button.
5. In the File Signature Verification window, click the Start button.
6. When the results of the signature verification appear, note whether the utility detected any
files that were not digitally signed. From the Signature Verification dialog box, click the OK
button.
7. From the File Signature Verification window, click the Advanced button, then the Log-ging tab.
8. From the Logging tab, click the View Log button. View the log file, and when done, close
the log file. From the Advanced File Signature Verification Settings dialog box, click the OK
button, then the Close button in the File Signature Verification window.

Over The Internet Now and click the Next button.
3. The Register With Microsoft? dialog box will appear. Click the No, I Don’t Want To Reg-ister Now; Let’s Just Activate Windows
option and click the Next button.
4. You will see a Thank You! dialog box indicating that you have successfully activated your
copy of Windows. Click OK.
5. Leave the window open for the next lab.

2. From the System Properties dialog box, select the Computer Name tab, then click the Net-work ID button.
3. The Network Identification Wizard will start. Click the Next button.
4. In the Connecting To The Network dialog box, verify that the This Computer Is Part Of
A Business Network, And I Use It To Connect To Other Computers At Work option is
selected and click the Next button.
5. The next question will ask what kind of network you use. Verify that the My Company
Uses A Network With A Domain option is selected and click the Next button.
6. The Network Information dialog box will appear. Click the Next button.

network. Since this is a simulated environment, you can use any password or domain name.

cari proses yang akan dipercepat...
klik kanan deh...
kalo uda pilih "set priority" kalo uda....
pilih yang high....
nah proses yang lu pengen cepetin gag bakalan lemot to ngehang(not responding)

Konfigurasi TP-LINK Access Point
Pastikan modem internet dan modem Accesspoint dalam kondisi hidup dan terkoneksi ke komputer dengan benar, buka browser pada komputer (Mozilla Firefox atau IE) dan pada kolom address masukkan alamat modem accesspoint yaitu 192.168.1.1 kemudian tekan Enter
Selanjutnya akan muncul tampilan konfirmasi username dan password secara default username dan passwordnya adalah admin.
Perhatikan pada menu sebelah kiri dan pilih Operation Mode kemudian pilih AP Router dan Save.
Berikutnya pada menu Wireless Setting perhatikan jendela sebelah kanan, pada kolom SSID tuliskan kalimat atau kata yang nantinya akan menjadi nama Accpoint yang muncul pada komputer pengguna.
Masih pada menu Wireless Setting, isikan / bubuhkan tanda cek pada Enable Wireless Security dan pilih WPA-PSK/WPA2-PSK pada Security Type kemudian isikan password yang kita inginkan pada kolom PSK Passphrase, nantinya password ini harus dimasukkan oleh pengguna apabila akan terkoneksi dengan Accesspoint
Selanjutnya pada menu DHCP Setting opsi DHCP Server di Enable-kan kemudian Save
Terakhir pada menu System Tools bagian Password isikan username dan password yang kita inginkan yang nantinya akan menggantikan password defaultnya yaitu admin.
